Andy Klaehn is a dynamic, multitalented, professional musician,
bandleader, and master teacher on the Faculty of Music at the University of
Guelph.
He is a highly sought after alto, soprano, and tenor sax, as well as flute,
and clarinet player with various artists in a wide array of collaborations from
duos to sextets. He is also a founding member of the renowned Top Pocket Jazz
Quartet.
He has been called upon to perform with international recording artists such
as Bo Diddley, Carol Welsman, Moe Kauffman, Maynard Ferguson, Kenny Baron, and
Peter Appleyard. He also performed as a featured artist and band member aboard
the Carnival cruise ship “Miracle” and with the KW Symphony and the Stratford
Festival Orchestra.
Andy is an active musician, private teacher, and bandleader recording and
performing in local events, restaurants, weddings, concerts, and festivals
throughout Ontario, Canada.
